Connecticut's Department of Labor today released revised jobs figures for 2012, reporting slightly larger job growth than previously reported. This is good news, but unfortunately the overall employment picture in Connecticut remains bleak. Our labor force is declining in size. We have fewer Connecticut residents employed than two years ago. And in spite of the revised 2012 figures, Connecticut's jobs recovery remains substantially slower than that of the United States as a whole, as this chart shows.
